Here are two more photos to show the range of possibilities on your 5 inch loom.

The first is a more traditional weave structure (tabby) also mounted sideways.

It’s measurements are 3” x 5”.

This one is mounted traditionally, but is a mixed media.  The background of tabby and soumak woven on the 5” loom and and it is 4.5” x 2.5”.  Needle felted light house and frame were added for texture.

The weaving picture I sent you is no longer available but the measurements were approximately 8”x11”.    I did frame it on it’s side.  (Who says weavings have to be upright?) done on 10x22 inch loom her test weaving for the test of the 22 inch vertical bars range 17 to 22 inches 5 inch slot.

This is a pulled-warp mask, designed to (hopefully) have elements of realism to it.  It was woven on the 10" x 12" SketchLoom at 6 epi, with a linen warp and 2 strands of Frid weft throughout.  One begins with the rounder fuller face, because it will be narrowed and shaped by compressing the weft, by pulling selectively on the warps.  I have woven somewhat loosely, leaving a bit of "lice" (the visible warp within the weaving) so it will be easy to compress the woven weft.  Pulling differentially on the two sides of a slit in the weaving will cause one side to protrude out (is that a redundancy?).  And a face and a personality emerge.

To get the slits for eyes, nostrils, and mouth, one needs to weave the face from the side, rather than vertically.  This becomes easier to envision and do than one would think.
